Billing without support tickets
Paid subscriptions use a merchant of record. The provider handles card data, sales tax/VAT, receipts, invoices, payment-method changes, and self-service cancellation. VendorEpoch derives access only from verified server-side billing state.
Fair refund policy
The first automatic refund grant for a customer across VendorEpoch workspaces is eligible for a USD-denominated invoice when the request arrives within 14 days, is no more than one invoice and USD 1,000 equivalent, and has no fraud or prior-abuse indicators. Recreating a workspace or billing customer does not reset that grant. Otherwise the billing portal keeps cancellation easy, and any legally required review follows the accountable-owner path.
Plan limits are predictable
An exact-version scope uses one unit; a family or vendor scope uses one unit for each published product version it covers. Independently configured scopes are additive. We never silently drop monitoring when usage reaches or grows beyond a limit. Existing monitoring continues, while new additions are blocked with a clear usage explanation.
